Lithuanian film director Titas Laucius to attend the LBFF

We’re delighted to announce the director of Parade (Paradas) Titas Laucius will be at the LBFF to introduce his film to the UK audiences.

About the film: Miglė got divorced 26 years ago. One day she gets a call with a strange request: to marry his new girlfriend, her ex-husband wants to get a divorce through the “Catholic court” the only institution that has the power to undo the bond of a Christian marriage. During the process of the court – a series of awkward and embarrassing meetings with several priests - Miglė and her former husband find themselves getting closer to each other. Maybe even closer than they were during their marriage.

About the director: Titas Laucius (born in 1993) finished his BA in Scriptwriting at Lithuanian Music and Theatre Academy, followed by an MA in Film Directing. His short fiction film SNAKE (2018) the award for Most Promising Director in the student film competition of Vilnius Film Festival Kino Pavasaris. Second short film FAMILY UNIT (2019) won Best Short Film at Vilnius Film Festival Kino Pavasaris and National film award for best student film. PARADE is his feature film debut.
